Chief Accountant
Warszawa
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain full accounting books in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and submitting tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, and others).
  • Prepare reports for external institutions (GUS, NBP, and others).
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Supervise the proper flow of accounting documents and internal processes.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and adapting accounting procedures accordingly.
  • Optimize and improving accounting processes.
  • Represent the company during external audits and in dealings with the Social Insurance - Institution (ZUS) and other authorities.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments within the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and current tax regulations.
  • Higher education in accounting or a related field.
  • Proven ability to design and implement accounting processes and procedures.
  • High level of conscientiousness, accuracy, and dedication to assigned responsibilities.
  • Polish C1+ and English B2+.
  • Ability to work from our office in Wroclaw.
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Knowledge of Comarch Optima.
