Operations Manager (Energy Regulations and Compliance)


Our client is a globally present investment management group specializing in commercial and industrial facilities, currently developing their energy management business line. We are seeking for a well-driven individual for a position of Operations Manager, to enable further growth by taking charge of regulatory, compliance and operative aspects of everyday activities.

In this pivotal position you will be responsible for developing processes, procedures, operational support and supervision which will enable regulatory adequate and internally compliant way of everyday efficient work and further growth of the division.

Divisions structure is not based in one place, so in this role you can work remotely with occasional office visits. If preferred, company has several offices in Poland and work can be based in one of them.

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Operational support of whole team, especially in field of regulatory framework and compliance
  • Ensurance of products compatibility with current legislation and both market and internal standards
  • Monitoring of regulatory changes in energy sector
  • Co-creation and coordination of process implementation
  • Operational support of concession-related objectives and tasks
  • Support in cPPA/PPA contracts negotiations 
  • Supervision over operational apects in regards of OSDn 
  • Supervision and coordination of reporting aspects (e.g. to URE)
  • Documentation management 
  • Support in field of distribution tariffs (cooperation with external subcontractor)
  • Cooperation with internal (e.g. finance, legal, compliance departments) and external (e.g. URE, PSE, subcontractors) stakeholders
Ideal candidate should have:
  • hands-on approach and mindset
  • creative personality with energy and willingness to involve in development of business line since early stage 
  • extensive experience in working with energy regulations, tariffs, distribution, compliance
  • up-to-date knowledge of energy market regulations, legislation and practices
  • proven track record in creating processes and procedures in energy companies
  • experience in obtaining distribution concessions
  • fully communicative polish and english
